Our annual ODS Vitaal walk took place on Sunday 6 November. We look back on a successful event in which approximately 1000 walkers participated. From the start at Brasserie Bie-Ein in Schimmert two distances (8 and 13 km) were set out by the volunteers of the Walking Association Trampelkeu from Schimmert. We enjoyed beautiful views over the plateau and the routes were nice and flat. That is unique in South Limburg.
On the way the walkers could take a look at Yogastudio VRIJ-MAN and Watertoren De Reusch. The children had fun searching for Foxy and the secret code. After the walk, the youngest walkers could also play and do crafts. In short: an active and relaxing day for everyone.

You can start from 9.30 am to 2 pm for the 8 km walk.
You can start from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm for the 13 km walk.
Both routes pass a well-maintained break where you can enjoy a cup of coffee or tea with a delicious piece of ‘vlaai’. For the children there is ranja.
Along the way we make a short stop at Kirsten Vrijman Yoga. You may know her from our breath coaching workshops. You can take a look around the fire pit and taste the atmosphere of Kirsten’s workplace. You can participate in the 10 minute workshops: Breathing, Sun Salutation or Meditation. You can continue completely zen. You will get a tasty apple here for the continuation of the route.
Upon your return, Bie-Ein will have a nice cup of soup or sausage or cheese sandwiches ready for you .
At the start you will also receive 2 extra consumption tokens that you can spend that day at Bie-Ein.
ODS Vitaal ensures that you do not lack anything.
For the children we have a surprise bag at the finish and a fun activity for the road: “Find the foxes!” In the salon of Brasserie Bie-Ein there is kids entertainment for the children afterwards. They can be painted, they can color and play games. In good weather you can also play outside on the bouncy castle.
It will be a fun day for the whole family!
