Tips with restorative yoga postures during your summer trip!
Yoga can relieve you of aches and pains that occur when you are sitting for a long time in a car or plane. Sitting for a long time can also cause it to drain your energy. Every opportunity you get to lengthen, rotate or bend your spine will give you a refreshing feeling again because it stimulates your nerves.
- Start with rotating movements of your hips around your own axis, nice and free in your own way.
- Then do the cat-cow pose. That is bending your back forward and back and extending your lower back.
- Then you come into an easy forward bend. Place your feet parallel hip-width apart with a slight knee bend and let your head hang towards the floor. Grab your elbows of the other arm.
- Let the weight of your torso and head create space between your vertebrae. Allow the relaxation in your neck.
- Slowly rock your upper body back and forth and take a deep breath in and out.
Feel wonderfully restored with the feeling of renewed energy, flexibility and space in your back. What a relief!
